Introducing the Kinnara Foundation
Empowered People. Thriving Communities. Shared Prosperity.
Who We Are
Co-founded by Adrian Campbell, Kinnara Asia, the Kinnara Foundation is a social impact organisation dedicated to empowering communities through education, employment, and environmental action. Guided by the belief that real progress begins within communities themselves, the Foundation helps people create self-determining, lasting change.
What We Do
The Kinnara Foundation delivers practical, community-led programs across Indonesia, focusing on education access, skills development, and sustainable livelihoods. From teacher exchange scholarships that uplift classrooms to local ocean clean-up crews creating jobs and protecting coastlines, each initiative strengthens the link between people, planet, and shared prosperity.
When and Where It Began
The Foundation’s journey began in Buwun Mas, a coastal village in South Lombok, where Kinnara Asia first collaborated with local leaders to improve education and reduce plastic pollution. What started as a small grassroots partnership has grown into a scalable model for sustainable community development across Indonesia.

Why We Exist
At its heart, the Kinnara Foundation exists to create opportunities that endure. Built on the values of responsibility, inclusivity, and equity, we believe that when people are empowered through learning and employment, they build stronger families, thriving communities, and a more sustainable future for all.
Our Vision for the Future
Together with Adrian Campbell and a network of local changemakers, the Kinnara Foundation is expanding its impact across Southeast Asia. Our mission is to connect global partners with local communities, driving measurable outcomes in education, environmental regeneration, and economic empowerment, creating a world where prosperity is truly shared.
